We host a number of groups for families, children and young people. Everyone who works with children, young people or vulnerable adults at All Saints – whether paid or voluntary – is vetted and has a current clean DBS check (formerly CRB).
Age 0 to school age
Minis is a parent/carer and baby/toddler group which normally meets in the church centre, Monday and Friday mornings. Minis aims to be an inclusive place of welcome and support to parents/carers whatever their parenting journey.
For babies who aren’t yet crawling
Dinkies is aimed at mums with babies born just before, during or after lockdown and who aren’t yet crawling. We have been delighted to re-start 2 one-hour groups on Wednesday mornings, having previously met on Monday afternoons.
For parents/carers with fostered or adopted babies and pre-school children
Little Acorns is aimed at parents/carers with babies and pre-school children who are fostered and/or adopted. We meet to chat and share stories whilst the children play with the toys, interspersed with drinks and snacks.
In ‘normal’ times we divide the children into age appropriate groups and meet in the Church Centre during the 10.45am service.
Each Sunday morning (in normal times) a group of willing volunteers provide a safe and happy place for the under-threes to stay and play while their parents worship. However, please note that there is no crèche for the 9am service.
