Café Manager

Rhiannon Cooke

Rhiannon was born in South Wales, but moved to Chester aged 11. She grew up in a Christian home and made a commitment aged 12. She studied theology (as a mature student!) part time at Nazarene Theological College, Didsbury, whilst running a youth group and raising a family.

She has worked with people of various backgrounds and ages, which include youth work, schools work, pregnancy crisis work in Styal Prison, working for the National Trust, and as a primary school teaching assistant.

Managing Heart and Soul Café at All Saints combines three things Rhiannon loves – God, people and food! She enjoys chatting with the customers and has had some wonderful opportunities to share the love of God with people, pray with them or just encourage them. She loves the sense of community amongst both the volunteers and the customers in the café.

Rhiannon is married to Martin and they attend Northgate Church. They have two children, who are both married, and also have 3 grandchildren. She loves baking, drinking coffee, gardening, walking and cycling.
